Spring/Summer weights are too light and don’t hold their shape as there is not enough weight to the fabric to maintain crisp appearance. Winter wools are too heavy and lofty and not good for summer heat.

Stay away from cotton and linen fabrics. Cotton and linen both will wrinkle and look like the garments have been slept in after five minutes of wear. Linen is a flax fabric ideal for vacation, not for the office. Micro-fiber is a polyester and does not breathe and the fabrics will be very hot to wear in the heat of the summer.

Never wear anything sheer or transparent that defines or shows undergarments. Garments should never be tight, short or revealing that defines shape, curves or exposes cleavage.

Garments should be fit comfortable and appropriate so you don’t look like you are wearing clothing too big or small for your body; know what a good fit is, all garments need some alterations. Merino wool garments are the best choice to look professional and fight summer’s heat.
